If you're an EU or EEA Student, and you lived in the UK before the 31 December 2020, you were eligible to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021. Find out more about the EU Settlement Scheme on our Visas and Immigration page.
For courses starting before 1 January 2028, UK nationals and their family members living in the EU, EEA or Switzerland will generally be eligible for home fee status and student support in England.
To qualify, they must have lived in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or the UK for at least the last three years, have been living in the EU, EEA or Switzerland on 31 December 2020, and have lived continuously in the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK between 31 December 2020, and the start of their course.
