AUB Futures – Careers and Enterprise
The future starts now — and every experience at AUB helps shape it.
That’s why we support our students to build their confidence, connections and career paths from day one.
AUB Futures is our dedicated careers and enterprise service, offering one-to-one career coaching, industry events and alumni insights. Our support is open to all students during their studies, and for three years after graduation.
A creative degree at AUB offers more than specialist skills. Through a design-thinking approach, students develop adaptable, future-facing qualities that employers value across every sector.
With 75% of employers open to graduates from any discipline, our alumni go on to thrive in roles within and beyond the creative industries.
15 months after graduating, 74% of AUB alumni said they found their work meaningful (Graduate Outcomes Survey). Many work as freelancers, founders and creatives — others succeed in fields like Law, Finance, the NHS and the Civil Service.
Our qualified career coaches offer impartial, confidential one-to-one coaching on everything from CV writing and career planning to freelancing and job searching.
A range of helpful Careers and Enterprise resources are available on the Student Learning Platform, Canvas. Graduates can also find resources on our alumni network, AUB&.
The Jobs and Opportunities Board is updated weekly with placements, internships, graduate jobs, residencies, competitions, open calls, and part-time roles for current students and recent graduates.
AUB's Student Collab Board is a digital space for students across disciplines to connect, post projects, and find creative collaborators – perfect for gaining experience and building your portfolio through curricular and extracurricular work.
Our Careers and Enterprise events programme features talks, workshops, and networking events with alumni and industry experts. Highlights include:
Employability and enterprise are embedded in every course through the AUB Graduate Futures Framework. Careers coaches support course teams in delivering workshops on key skills like storytelling, networking, freelancing, and collaboration – ensuring students graduate confident, capable, and industry-ready.
